Counseling Services

We have developed expertise in working with adults, adolescents, and couples from diverse backgrounds. We utilize a variety of treatment modalities including cognitive behavioral (CBT), psychodynamic, and dialectical behavioral (DBT) therapies to treat the following issues:

We offer Individual therapy (50 minutes), Group therapy (60-90 minutes), and Couples or Family therapy (50-80 minutes).

Consultation

During the first session (consultation) we will discuss what you would like to work on and ways in which we can help you. We will also determine if we are a good match. A consultation may be useful if you are not sure whether you need or want therapy or coaching, or if you are looking for a second opinion.

Typical Session

Individual, Couples and Group sessions are typically weekly, however, depending upon your needs we may meet twice a week or twice a month. Each session will be tailored to your needs, with a focus on your goals, difficulties impeding progress, and strengths. 

Coaching Services

Coaching helps clients achieve specific goals related to career, finances, relationships, health/wellness, and parenting. We typically offer coaching after a client has completed a course of treatment with a therapist to address specific emotional barriers or trauma. It is a great way to maintain progress and have a periodic check in with a professional, who can deliver advice from an unbiased perspective.

Typical Session

Coaching sessions usually take place weekly, however, depending upon your needs we may meet twice a week or twice a month. Each session will be tailored to your needs, with a focus on your goals, difficulties impeding progress, and strengths.  Sessions may last 30-60 minutes.
